Do you know how to sketch? I think you do!

Do you know how to sketch? I believe you can!

Look at this sketch from an actual project meeting. Simple circles, rough lines, basic shapes. Seemingly totally incomprehensable.

But, since it was sketched during the conversation, everyone in the room immediately understood what each part meant. When we needed to reference an idea, we just pointed to the sketch. When someone joined late, we could explain our entire discussion by walking through the drawing.

This isn’t about being an artist. It’s about communication.

We think visually. When you put pen to paper, you’re not just drawing – you’re externalizing your thoughts in a way others can see and build upon. The same principle works with AI. Instead of struggling with text descriptions that never quite capture what you want, a simple sketch often communicates your vision perfectly.

Could you have drawn this? Of course. These are just basic shapes and lines.

That’s the point.

When talking to an AI agent, things are exactly the same. Show, dont tell! If you upload a sketch you can write far far less. Sometimes AI is telling you things about your sketch you did not even realized.

If you are courious about sketches, you would love next weeks seminar!

I’ve been teaching sketching for 15 years and helped over 2,500 people learn to sketch like pros using my methods. I teach a straightforward and powerful way of turning your thoughts into sketches – letting people around you literally read your mind!

Join me next Wednesday for “Lines of Thinking” – a hands-on workshop about using simple sketches to communicate more effectively with both people and AI.

Wednesday, September 24 · 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM CEST
The Park Forskaren, Stockholm (also available online)

We’ll cover:

  • Why visual communication works better than words alone
  • How to sketch ideas quickly without artistic skills
  • Using sketches to get better results from AI tools
  • Practical exercises you can use immediately

Your ideas deserve to be understood clearly. Simple sketches can help make that happen.
