Join 2,500+ people who’ve learned to sketch interactively

The Lines of Thinking method was created by Mårten Angner, UX designer and product strategist from Stockholm. Since 2007, thousands of designers, managers, and innovators have learned this approach to express ideas quickly and collaboratively — using pen and paper, digital tablets, or a whiteboard in a meeting.

Now, the method includes sketching for AI. You’ll learn how to combine hand-drawn ideas with generative tools to prompt more effectively and refine faster. In just three hours, you’ll unlock skills for problem solving, storyboarding, concept work, and boosting creativity through visual language.

Become a more confident communicator

Strong communicators know how to make others see what they mean. But translating a mental image into words is often slow and ineffective.

Sketching while talking instantly bridges that gap. You’ll learn how to use simple lines to clarify your point of view and hold attention in any discussion. Even better, once your idea is on paper, others can jump in, refine it, or build on it. That’s visual collaboration at its best.

Solve problems visually with your team

Most misalignment comes from unspoken assumptions. This course teaches you to visually frame problems — making sure your team starts with shared understanding.

By breaking down discussions visually, you’ll reduce complexity, uncover insights, and converge on solutions faster. And the best part? You’ll leave with a shared sketch that documents the process and outcome.

Learn to sketch in a way that looks great and feels easy

Many people hold back because they’re embarrassed by their drawings. That ends here.

We start with the basics: a clean line. From there, you’ll learn how to apply intention to shapes, forms, and layouts. After just one session, your sketches will be clear, confident, and useful — perfect for sharing in presentations, reports, or AI prompts.

From flows to storyboards to UX concepts

As your sketching improves, you’ll move from static visuals to dynamic flows and system thinking.

We’ll practice storyboarding and sketching for interfaces — focusing on key moments, layout fidelity, and storytelling. These are the same tools used to design apps, services, and digital platforms. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to sketch complex ideas clearly — and quickly.

A sketch says more than a thousand prompts

Sketches aren’t just great for humans. They’re powerful tools for guiding AI.

In this course, you’ll explore how to:

  • Use AI for early-stage visual inspiration
  • Build a moodboard and trace meaningful fragments
  • Recompose elements into a new concept through sketching
  • Use your sketch as a visual prompt in tools like Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Replit

This approach reduces the friction of AI prompting and helps you create results that match your vision — faster.
